The chicklings are quickly prepared and fit a variety of dishes from hearty to sweet.

BASIC RECIPE: Package contents in a bowl and mix with twice the amount of lukewarm water. Leave to swell for 30 min. Put the dough with a tablespoon in a pan and fry in hot fat until golden brown. Turn the taler only when the surface is stoked.
