About Manual Bindery Daniel Kirst Daniel is a skilled boat builder. He has worked on beautiful boats, yachts and cutters in various states and ventured into self-employment in 2013 due to a synthetic resin allergy. For two years, he and his wife Julia then produced and sold a wide variety of wooden items in their own wood art workshop with a store in Salem Castle on Lake Constance. The small Buchbinder Manufactur loves wood as a material and makes beautiful, sustainable notebooks out of it.
