Through a ceramic protective layer, the reflector material is weather-resistant and protected against salty as well as chemically polluted air.

The solar stove can be quickly mounted and dismounted except for the reflector and due to the rotatable frame easily track the sun.
Since the focal point is within the parabolic mirror, the reflector must be tracked only every 20-25 minutes.
