Hayflower Pillow
Hay flowers (flora graminis) are also called grass flowers. They are a mixture of flower parts, seeds and smaller pieces of leaves and stems of various meadow plants. They consist mainly of the grasses couch grass, trespe, meadow lych, meadow fescue, meadow dwarf grass, meadow foxtail, creeping bentgrass and tangle grass. The harvested hay is cut by us and freed by multiple sieving of coarse stem parts, sand, dust and soil. In the countryside are considered hay all plant parts that are not captured by the pitchfork on the threshing floor. It is not uncommon to find a thick layer of hay flowers on the threshing floor.

The hay flower pillow has been used for centuries in folk medicine. Be it to soothe and relax cramped muscles, to improve the elasticity of connective tissue, to increase circulation, as a liver pack, for kidney and bladder ailments, or to activate tissue metabolism. In addition, it is used for local heat therapy in degenerative diseases of the rheumatic form circle.

Application:
The pillow should be heated in the oven at 150 °C. Not suitable for microwave. It is recommended to put 2 to 3 cups of water in the oven to ensure good moisture penetration. Heating via steam is also possible.

Caution: do not use on open injuries and rheumatic inflammations! In very rare cases, allergic skin reactions may occur.
