Whole and without frills... these are our products... this is waschkram.  We, Christine and Vanessa from Cologne, are the founders of waschkram. We produce all our solid hair and body care products by hand in our small factory in Cologne with love, passion and conviction. For us, sustainability and environmental protection are our top priorities.  Our products combine high performance, yield and innovative formulas with a beautiful design and recognition value. They are thought through from start to finish, completely free of palm oil, sulphates and plastic and are in no way inferior to conventional drugstore products. All our products are vegan, of natural origin, organic and produced fairly by us in Cologne.  We want to show people how easy it is to switch to plastic-free cosmetics without changing their habits.

MISSION WE TRY TO SAVE THE PLANET THROUGH OUR NEW CREATIVE AND PRODUCTIVE PROCESS. WE WANT TO CREATE A GLOBAL NETWORK OF COMPANIES AND ASSOCIATIONS SENSITIVE TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES, FROM THE CREATION OF A NEW PRODUCT TO ITS DISPOSAL. WE HOPE TO COLLABORATE WITH AS MANY PARTNERS AS POSSIBLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE DISPOSAL OF CLOTHES. WE HOPE THAT MANY WILL JOIN THIS MISSION WITH US.

We could be one more footwear brand, we could produce our models in countries where labor is cheap, we could use banal raw materials, we could be a worthless brand. We chose another path, we wanted to demonstrate that it is possible to reconcile fashion, sustainability, animal protection and ethics. Our models are produced in Portugal, in factories that employ qualified labor recognized worldwide for their quality in the sector and that comply with all laws defending human rights. Our models are composed of materials from other industries (apple, hemp, recycled plastic bottles, recycled clothing, etc.) to promote the circular economy. Our models do not include any material or component whose composition incorporates any material of animal origin, not even glues, so our brand is considered vegan. Our models are recycled by us and transformed into raw material that will be used again in the production of our models. This is our way. What is yours? More

We design our timeless and fashionable VEDERWERK bags in the heart of Stuttgart. Using plant-based, high-quality and natural materials, we want to unite vegan materials and fashion under the slogan vegan & fashion. And that without letting a single animal suffer for it! Materials made of artificial leather, which are mostly made of environmentally harmful plastics, are not an option for VEDERWERK bags. When selecting our materials, we pay attention to three criteria: 100% vegan, sustainably produced, highest quality. Only if these criteria are fully met do we use the material for our vegan bags!

At VAER, we believe in making sneakers that are as sustainable as possible throughout the entire lifecycle, which is why we also recycle old VAER sneakers into new soles after end of use.
