CO₂-Saving: "Made in Germany" has a value in the world today more than ever, bundling a lot of positive characteristics: Quality, durability, reliability, efficiency, control, honesty,...Unlike many companies, BHS did not relocate production to low-wage countries in the 1990s, but has invested around 80 million euros in domestic production sites since 1998.

Pollutant-reduced production: BHS was the first company in the porcelain industry worldwide to be certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 50001 test guideline in 2012. In addition, BHS has been certified in accordance with the international standard for environmental management systems DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 since 2011 in order to be able to systematically manage requirements for environmental protection. Energy and water saving projects are also a regular part of our environmental program.

FIFTYEIGHT PRODUCTS: we founded FIFTYEIGHT ANIMATION in 1998 with the goal of leaving our mark in the world of 3D computer animation. And we are still doing that today! Traces in virtual worlds are all well and good - but by far not everything. Already in our first presentation booklet for the young entrepreneurs' promotion we wrote that we wanted to make our own products someday. Because we already knew then that we enjoy lifting things out of virtuality and into the "real world"! As an example of a product where we could let our creativity run wild outside of animation curves and render trees, we always talked about 3D animated children's wallpaper. However, our first products with our own founded label FIFTYEIGHT PRODUCTS turned out to be completely different: a cheeky grinning porcelain cup as well as one looking pouty and puzzled out of the laundry.
