Minimalist vegan wallet made from a scooter apron (rain protection used by 2WD riders) originally destined for the scrap heap. Machine embroidery by VintageMadByM

This vegan material -a kind of imitation leather with a very resistant weave on the back- is a wonderful replacement for leather.
No scooter was mistreated in the making of this wallet ;)
My goal is to recycle as much as possible.
Here in Strasbourg (and surrounding areas), there is no channel for re-processing or recovery of scooter aprons that are too worn/broken...
So I decided to collect as many as possible from repair shops and private individuals, to turn them into portfolios and thus avoid unnecessary waste.
Nothing gets lost, everything gets transformed!
