In Arab countries, miswak (salvadora persica L.) has been used for thousands of years for dental care.
The sturdy handle is made of bio-based plastic derived from sugar. It is vegan and GMO-free.
About SWAK
Thilo Grauheding (dentist) and Daniel Orias Steinmetz (dental technician) have been developing the SWAK toothbrush since 2006.
The SWAK EXPERIENCE UG employs people of diverse professions, as well as different generations and backgrounds.
Collective working and sustainability in all areas of the company are central concerns.
Workers from the workshop for disabled people of the DRK Sozialwerk Bernkastel-Wittlich produce the Köpflis and assemble and pack the SWAK toothbrushes.
