Ethletic - Fair Flip Jet Black, vegan flip-flop
The Fair Flip Classic is a stylish and vegan flip-flop made of Fairtrade certified organic cotton in the upper material and a sewn-through FSC natural rubber sole.
The rubber sole and the cotton core are glued with natural latex. The outer sole and cotton core are sewn together. The seam serves as a mounting aid. Only natural materials are used.
The cotton comes from Fairtrade certified small farmers in India and the natural rubber from FSC certified small farmers in Sri Lanka. The toe separators are produced in a Fairtrade certified company in Pakistan.
In addition to the Fairtrade minimum price, the cotton farmers receive a Fairtrade premium, which is used for community projects: For example, the premiums are used for education, health or infrastructure projects.
The soles of the shoes are made of 100% FSC-certified natural rubber. The control system of the Forest Stewardship Council is in place to ensure the ecological responsibility of rubber production in Sri Lanka and India. The FSC seal stands for exemplary, sustainable management of forest areas and plantations.
